In the 1960's LSD was commonly available on
impregnated sugar cubes. Today LSD usually comes as small squares (about
5mm square) of blotting paper that have been dipped in LSD and the allowed
to dry. Perforations in the blotting paper allow individual 'doses' to be
torn off. It is less commonly seen in a capsule, powder, gelatine sheet or
in liquid form, although small pill form known as a 'microdot' is still
often seen.
Whole sheets of LSD (often comprising about 900
'trips') are commonly printed with repeating designs, a montage of drug
related images, or a combination of both.
