LSD and Health
“There are three side effects of acid: enhanced long-term memory, decreased short-term memory, and I forget the third.” (Timothy Leary)

LSD is not toxic, and no overdoses on LSD have ever been reported. However, the potential for accidents is raised by its use. People with a history of depression or other mental health problems may find these exacerbated by the use of LSD. Some people report 'flashbacks' days, months or years after use. Flashbacks involve a brief experience similar to the acid 'trip' where colours may seem more vivid, or things may appear distorted.
