Magic Mushrooms are Class A drug under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
Due to a loop-hole in British law, unprepared (i.e.
dried or boiled etc.) psilocybin mushrooms were not
illegal until the loop-hole was closed by the
Drugs Act
2005. Use and possession of the Fly Agaric is
still legal in the UK.
